Tepeyac Lifeway is a concept based on mutual acceptance, understanding, respect and support. Individuals involved in 'Tepeyac' express their support for others by assisting with life and learning experiences aimed at educational and career fulfillment. The goal is to provide a positive experience toward an awareness of hope and personal satisfaction offering opportunities for improving the quality of life.
The Tepeyac Consortium sponsors the Sage Lifelong Learning Centers providing:
A High School Diploma via criteria including passing the GED Exam
(in partnership with Dine College/Shiprock Campus GED Chief Examiner's Office)
Academic Assessment and advisement for adults
Instruction in preparation for taking the General Education Development (GED) Exam
Instruction for academic improvement: Language Arts, Mathematics, Reading Comprehension
(in partnership with the New Mexico Higher Education Department)
Adult Literacy Instruction
(in partnership with the New Mexico Coalition for Literacy and ProLiteracy America)
Professional Development and Leadership training activities for Adult Education practitioners
(in partnership with NMAEA - New Mexico Adult Education Association)
Resume writing, job interview preparation, job placement
(in partnership with Navajo Nation Workforce Development)
Computer Literacy
Talking Circle - topics and issues for motivation and building self esteem
Health Literacy for basic nutrition and wellness focusing on disease prevention and maintenance
